Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website.

  • Business users who create and manage Revmetry accounts.

  • End customers or guests who scan a Revmetry QR code, submit feedback, receive coupons, or interact with review-generation flows.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services that may be linked from our platform.

For end customers / guests, we may collect:

  • Experience type (e.g. dine-in, delivery, takeaway, service visit)

  • Selected tags

  • Comment or feedback message

  • AI-generated review draft and edited review text, where applicable

  • Coupon issuance and redemption information

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • Device type and operating system

  • Referring URL

  • Date and time of access

  • Page views and clickstream events

  • Product usage data such as QR scans, feedback started, feedback submitted, OTP requested, AI draft generated, and Google review link clicked

We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, such as:

  • Cloud hosting and database providers

  • AI model providers

  • OTP/SMS providers

These providers process information on our behalf subject to contractual and operational safeguards.

5.3 For legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:

AI‑generated content

Revmetry may use third-party AI services to generate suggested review text based on customer feedback. When AI features are used:

  • Users should review and edit AI-generated text before using or publishing it

We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content, and businesses remain responsible for how such content is used.

OTP and messaging

To verify users and support coupon flows, we may send OTPs or service-related messages to customer mobile numbers using third-party messaging providers. These messages are used for:

  • Verification

  • Coupon delivery

  • Redemption confirmation

  • Service communication

Businesses using Revmetry are responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate legal basis to collect customer phone numbers and trigger such messages through the Service.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

  • Business account data is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward

  • Customer feedback and coupon data may be retained while the related business account remains active

  • Usage logs and analytics may be retained for security, reporting, and product improvement purposes

  • We may anonymise or aggregate data for analytics after it is no longer needed in identifiable form
